Two paramedics standing beside an ambulance

Community · December 12, 2026

A two-hour introduction to grappling built for fire and EMS crews who deal with combative patients.

Firefighters and paramedics regularly encounter combative patients, and few have any formal training in how to control someone safely without hurting them or getting hurt. This session covers the basics: framing, distance management, and how to safely hold a patient until help arrives.

No experience or equipment needed. Crews are welcome to attend on shift.
